Updates

We went to Belleville's Chili Cook Off on Saturday with Josh's sister Brandy. It was a beautiful day but a little warm in the sun. Last year it was 90 degrees when we went, definitely not chili weather. Our favorite was the Scrubby Dutch Chili, not too spicy and the perfect consistency. Here we are listening to Area 51 and people watching. And trust me, people watching was ideal that day...

Last night Josh decided he wanted me to try cutting his hair since I did such a good job on Lucy, OUR DOG. It turned out pretty good considering it was midnight and I've never cut hair before. No pictures yet, but he woke me up this morning to show me how good it looked styled.

Here is the newest addition to our family, Ella. She is a yorkshire terrier and is very cuddly.

Fabulous Finds--gfelted on etsy

Since I couldn't sleep last night, I decided to do an etsy search for yorkie stuff. Look what I found...are these not amazing??

Gfelted on etsy uses wool to create these needle felted sculptures. She does custom pet commissions and each sculpture comes with a certificate of authenticity. What a great gift!

What's to come

It has been almost a year since I posted and I hope to revive this blog once I return from my honeymoon.


I finished my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Maryville University this July and have enjoyed the "break" from school. I am getting married in 4 days and will be in beautiful Aruba until I return to St. Louis on September 1st.


Josh and I decided to add another addition to our family.

She will hopefully be home with us sometime in mid to late September.

In the future, my goal for this blog is to invite the reader into my space to share the creative process. See you in the fall!
