A little bit of a sneak peek...

If you've read some of my blog posts, you know that my husband and I have been rehabbing an old 1925 house.  I found this before shot of 1/2 of my living room so I thought I'd snap a photo of what it looks like right now.

We still have a TON of work to do, but it's starting to feel like home.

Is it spring yet?

I don't know about all of you, but I am ready for garage sale season!  These photos make me long for the days of driving around with an iced coffee and my Magellan.

Unfortunately, according to the forecast we are due for snow.  A cruel reminder that winter has just begun.

Here are some of my favorites I picked up last season.  2009 was the year of the Ball jar.

Our First Home

Josh and I just purchased our first home. It's a 1925 bungalow on 1/2 an acre with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and in need of a lot of TLC. Here's a sneak peek of the before photos. Above is the front of the house.

Here is a view from the back yard. It has a huge brick patio with it's fair share of weeds.

We completed the demolition stage and filled up a dumpster in no time. This week we have HVAC, plumbers, and tuckpointers coming in to help us out. There's plenty of work to do while we are stuck outside.
