Quote of the Day--Betrayal
"One should rather die than be betrayed. There is no deceit in death. It delivers precisely what it has promised. Betrayal, though...betrayal is the willful slaughter of hope."
-Steven Deitz
"Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish it's source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings."
-Anais Nin
"We have to distrust eachother. It's our only defense against betrayal."
-Tennessee Williams
"Betrayal is the only truth that sticks."
-Arthur Miller

Saturday Shots
Josh & I went garage saling this morning hoping to find some goodies for our house. We weren't having much luck...until I spotted this deacon's bench:
Once I saw it, there was nothing else that could catch my eye. I looked at the price, hoping it wouldn't deplete my funds for the day...it was 1/3 of the price of the ones listed on craigslist! I sat on it and gave it a wiggle, not even a budge. Once I had paid for the bench, I spotted these two glass jars:
What a sale!
After unsuccessfully attempting to cram the bench into my Saturn (& deciding to come back with a pickup truck) I saw this lovely little chair across the street:

Just what I wanted to fill an empty corner (& to add seating in my new-old, narrow living room).

Twilight
I just started reading the final book of the Twilight Saga--Breaking Dawn. I can't believe I've fallen victim to this series! I used to wonder what all the fuss was about and now I'm sad to see it end...
November 20th won't come soon enough, I can't wait to see New Moon!
Here is a trailer for the new flick:

Laundry Rooms
Creating a nice laundry room is one of the many things on my lengthy to-do list. It's currently just a dark and dusty room in the corner of my basement. Here is some inspiration for what it could be:
