So Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I am SOO excited!

I have this whole week off so I have been spending lots of time on etsy. I also rearranged my basement and now my craft area is much more conducive to creating. :) Here is something new that I posted this week:

I've done quite a bit of online shopping this year so I've spent my days rushing to the mailbox. Can't believe it's already Christmastime...and so relieved that I don't have to work at Macy's!

New Treasury--I'm dreaming...

I snagged a treasury today:

Of course, it is a Christmas treasury. I am already getting excited about the holidays...just a month until Thanksgiving!

I'm not gonna lie, I've already listened to a few Christmas CDs. I have a good amount of presents bought, and I found Mary Engelbreit cross-stitch ornament kits at Michael's the other day for $1! Also found a bunch of holiday ribbon, rubber stamps, ornaments, etc. How exciting!!!

30 Days to a Better Shop-Day 1

So I've decided to follow Christina Perdue's blog, 30 Days to a Better Shop. http://christinaperdue.com/blog/2007/10/01/30-days-to-a-better-shop-day-1/

I'm a little behind, so here is my first assignment....My goals for the next month:

1. Reach 100 hearts
2. Continue to follow the series
3. Blog at least twice a week
4. List at least 3 new items each week
5. Master the art of shipping (prices, etc.)

I'll keep you posted on my results!

That time of year...

This semester has been so busy that I haven't done much crafting. EXCEPT I started playing around with an ATC kit I received from a swap...how fun is that! I am obsessed. Every time I have a free minute I find myself sneaking to the basement to create another little piece of art.

Next week is my last Level I fieldwork and I am working on a program proposal, inservice, master's research, and an article. I hope this last fieldwork prepares me for the big ones starting in January.

Josh and I finally picked out our costumes. We're settling a bit this year simply because I don't have the time to do something creative! Football player and referee it is. I'm already sad about it, but no returning costumes. Hmm. Maybe I'll have time next year to plan something a little less (cheesy, slutty, common, whatever word you'd like to insert here). The one thing I did learn is that those costumes you buy are SHORT. I'm going to buy biker shorts to put under it. Ugh...what was I thinking?!

Halloween is coming!

Halloween is one of my FAVORITE holidays. In the midst of a busy semester, I found time to create these cards with vintage images.

Back to school....

Started school this week so I haven't had time to do anything with etsy! I have had so much reading, and since this is my last semester I figure I better read them! I am going to try and take advantage of the long weekend and get some things done.

Here is a pair of simple earrings I made. Think I will make a pair for myself!

"Saling"

Since I start school again Monday (for the last time EVER) I decided to go garage saling with my future MIL this morning. There weren't many and we drove forever following ridiculous signs that were placed literally 15 miles away from the actual sale. We still had a blast as always. No craft goodies but I did score some new shoes for $1! We're going to a rummage sale Friday so I'm praying I find something real good!

Just added two new tag packs to my etsy.

What do you think?

Meet and Greet

Hi all!

I am in my final year of school to become an Occupational Therapist, and recently engaged. I have a yorkie named Lucy and a fascination for old houses. I am obsessed with Christmas, but Halloween is also a favorite of mine. I like all things vintage, girly, glam, chic, black and white, animal printed or pink.

I have opened shop at etsy because I love making things!

I am new at blogging so bare with me.
